Baking soda, thanks to its numerous healing features, can be used for various purposes: for cooking, cleaning, and for treatment of medical problems. However, it seems that every single day people learn one new use of baking soda.
Baking soda improves your hair quality and eliminates the residue of conditioners and shampoo, thus providing a long-lasting hair shine. Baking soda can be used instead of the regular shampoo. You can enjoy its incredible effects.
If you like to avoid the commercial chemical-rich products and are fan of DIY remedies, we are going to show you how to make your own natural shampoo that is going to provide amazing results. You will find it unusual to use this shampoo at the beginning, since it won’t make any foam like the rest of the shampoos, but as the time goes by, you will get used to it. And, the results will make you opt for this homemade shampoo instead of the commercial ones.
This is what to do:
Mix water and baking soda in a ratio 3:1. If you have a long hair, mix 3 tbsp. of baking soda with 9 tbsp. of water, and apply it on wet or dry hair, starting from the hair roots to its ends, and let it act for 3 minutes. Then, wash it off with lukewarm water. Next, wash it off once again by using a mixture consisting of water and ACV in ratio 4:1. If you want, you can add an essential oil in order to improve its smell. To prevent the ACV entering into your eyes, tilt your head backward. Then, rinse it off once again.
You can make the ACV mixture in advance and store it in a bottle. Keep it in the bathroom so you can use it whenever you need. You will see the first result after the first treatment. After a couple of times, your hair will grow uncontrollably and it will be shiny, strong, and healthy.
